TRANSPARENCY & DISCLOSURE
Affiliate Disclosure
Embroidery Compass may earn commissions when readers purchase products through certain links on this website. This page explains how those affiliate relationships work and how we separate them from our editorial decisions.
IN SIMPLE TERMS
How Affiliate Links Work
Some links on Embroidery Compass are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, Embroidery Compass may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate program.
You generally do not pay more because you use one of our affiliate links. The commission is paid by the retailer or affiliate network according to its own program terms.
Affiliate revenue can help support website hosting, research, content development, maintenance, and other costs involved in operating Embroidery Compass.
OUR EDITORIAL PRINCIPLE
Affiliate Relationships Do Not Determine Our Recommendations
The existence of an affiliate relationship does not determine which products we include, compare, recommend, or how we describe their strengths and limitations.
Our editorial aim is to organize product information around the needs of the intended reader, not around which retailer or manufacturer may pay a commission.
AMAZON ASSOCIATES
Amazon Affiliate Disclosure
Embroidery Compass may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for websites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon and affiliated websites.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
OTHER PARTNERSHIPS
Other Affiliate Programs
Embroidery Compass may also participate in affiliate programs operated by other retailers, manufacturers, networks, or service providers relevant to embroidery machines, software, supplies, accessories, and related products.
Product Links
A link to a product, retailer, or service may sometimes be an affiliate link through which Embroidery Compass can earn a commission.
Programs Can Change
Affiliate relationships may be added, changed, or discontinued over time as retailers and affiliate programs change.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Prices, Availability & Product Information
Product prices, promotions, specifications, availability, and other details may change after an article is published. We aim to keep our content useful, but readers should confirm important purchasing information with the retailer or manufacturer before completing a purchase.
When you follow an external link from Embroidery Compass, the retailer’s current price, availability, shipping terms, warranties, return policies, and other applicable terms will govern the transaction.
ARTICLE DISCLOSURES
Disclosure Within Our Content
Where appropriate, articles containing affiliate links may include an additional disclosure near the beginning of the content so readers can understand the commercial relationship before interacting with product links.
The purpose of these disclosures is to make our relationship with retailers and affiliate programs clear rather than requiring readers to search for that information.
OUR APPROACH
Want to Know How We Research Products?
Our Editorial Process explains how Embroidery Compass researches products, evaluates relevant information, considers customer feedback, and separates research-based reviews from hands-on testing.
